John’s background and style

 

Having worked at prestigious public and independent schools, John understands the pressure students feel to achieve and to succeed.  Additionally, he has personal knowledge and experience with colleges and universities across the USA, and he combines that experience with students’ desires to create a path to success that is both realistic and rewarding.  


His career includes membership in several professional organizations such as the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC),

and he has given presentations on college admissions topics at state,

national and international venues such as the Missouri ACAC,

the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS), NACAC, and the European Council of International Schools (ECIS.)

He was a founding executive committee member of ACCIS.  


Student success is the centerpiece of all his professional work.

His upbeat and candid approach generates trust; students are quick to see that he cares for them and sees their potential.
